Description

The material in this course will introduce you to the fascinating study of a wide range of mood-altering chemicals, both legal and illegal. You will learn about the symptoms that drugs produce and about their effects on individuals. You will also explore various approaches to treating and preventing drug abuse and will consider their applicability to the Lakota community.
Prerequisites: ENGL 103
