Description
This couse is designed to cover the skills, concepts and issues of chemical dependency counseling of individuals. The content provides students with knowledge of the counseling relationship, factors involved in chemical dependency, understanding diagnosis, assessment and treatment plans. In addition to examining traits of an effective counselor, the student will work to develop and practice using a theory of counseling.
