Description

In this course the student will focus on the critical issues of brain development, communication and identity formation in prenatal babies, infants and toddlers. The student will learn elements of care that support expecting parents, infants and families. Areas of focus will include: caring relationships, health and safety, connectionsto family and culture, family and community support, the importance of prenatal care and nutrition, and responsive, knowledgable caregivers.
