Description

This course is for users interested in becoming UNIX/Linux administrators. This course will identify the hardware requirements for a UNIX/Linux system, the features of job control, the guidelines for managing disk space usage, the benefits of networking, the features of Transmission Control Protocol/Internet Protocol (TCP/IP), the requirements for remote access, the features of Network Information Services (NIS) and the features of Lightweight Directory Access Protocol (LDAP).
