Description

This course is designed for candidates to examine global, political economic and ideological forces that underlie the environmental crisis. It is further designed for candidates to compare the Lakota view of the relationship of human being to nature with those of other cultures. Finally, strategies and tactics that can be implemented to protect the environment will be explored. This course emphasizes Lakota values of respect and courage. Lakota Language will be spoken as much as possible during class hours.
Pre-requisites: LakM 603, LakM 613, and LakM 633.
