Description
This course is designed for candidates to examine: the constraints and the possibilities permitted under the current federal-Indian relationship. They will learn the development and implementation process of asserting and exercising tribal rights to make decisions as a society with the full attributes of a sovereign nation including recognition by other governments. Course will include a review of past and current activities of tribal involvement at the international level. this course emphasizes Lakota values of respect and courage. Lakota language will be spoken as mush as possible during class hours.
Pre-requisites: LakM 603, LakM 613, and LakM 633.
