Description

This course will examine the various legal and social issues involved in the practice of family law. Students will study the Indian Child Welfare Act and the Juvenile Code of the Oglala Sioux Tribe. Students will receive instruction in client interviewing techniques for drafting of pleadings necessary in the area of divorce, legal separation, adoption and child custody.
