Description

This course introduces students to the social science disciplines, including anthropology, sociology, history, psychology, geography, economics and political science. The curriculum covers major methods and theories that are used in attempting to explain the world that human beings have created. Subject matter includes family, race, gender, globalization, poverty, and culture. Students are asked to assess the subject matter in relation to their own life and community.
