Description

This course is designed to provide students opportunities to explore, acquire and apply fundamentals inherent to effective verbal and written communication with an emphasis on requisite skills for diplomatic, tactful negotiation including techniques for successfully maintaining composure and appropriate situational etiquette. This course introduces students to the psycholinguistic and sociolinguistic factors affecting transactional communication while reinforcing their critical thinking and information retrieval skills.
