Description

Students in this course critically analyze issues of race and ethnicity, a major historical and modern factor in human interaction. Using a culturally relativistic perspective, students investigate theory and research related to the interaction of ethnic and racial groups. Topics to be covered include power relations and stratification, sources of prejudice and discrimination.
Prerequisites: Engl 113, SOSC 103 and Junior status
